October in Victoria is a month that earns its positive reputation. The stages fill up fast with ballet and opera, touring comedians and tribute acts, while the shorter days and cooler evenings make a good excuse to cozy up with a crowd somewhere warm. There will be plenty of Halloween spirit woven through the calendar too, from drag spectaculars and puppet shows to a Studio 54 disco and a very spooky Nick Cave tribute. Whatever draws you out, October has you covered.
